While seemingly simple, Feldenkrais classes with Ralph Hadden have proved to have far reaching effects.  He suggests, always, that movements should never be forced but, rather, they should be pleasant explorations of what is possible; the emphasis is on finding ‘elegant solutions’ to movements we might previously have thought we could not do. This teaching actually leads, not only to a greater flexibility of body, but also to a flexibility of attitude and mind which I have found quite profound. Marian
